getlocal uses browser storage (cookies and similar technologies like localStorage) to make the Service work and, only with your permission, to understand how it’s used.

Essential storage (always on)

Sign-in session tokens so you stay logged in (Supabase authentication).
Your cookie choices, dismissed tips and app preferences (for example your last Feed tab).
Security and load balancing by our hosting provider (Cloudflare).

These are necessary for the Service and can’t be switched off in the app. You can clear them in your browser, but you’ll be signed out.

Analytics (optional)

If you choose "Accept analytics", we may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which features are used and fix problems. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics are off unless you opt in.

Advertising measurement (optional)

If we run ads, and only if you choose "Accept analytics", we may load the Meta Pixel, Google Ads tag or TikTok Pixel to measure whether people who saw an ad signed up. These are not loaded at all without your consent. We also record which campaign link (UTM parameters or click IDs) brought you to getlocal and store it with your account so we can measure our marketing.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
